Mark Single is the owner and founder of Single Builders. Mark is a licensed builder and with his wife Loanna they have turned their small building business into a locally recognised and family owned success story.

Loanna Single works closely alongside Mark in all aspects of the business and she primarily takes care of the financial side of the company. Loanna has helped Mark build the Single Builders brand into the strong position it holds today within the North West region of NSW.

Grant has 15 years of construction experience, starting as an apprentice with Single Builders. He advanced to residential leading hand and transitioned to estimator in 2018, overseeing all residential quoting. Recently, he expanded his role to include project management for Lifestyle Village projects and community facilities.

Justin, a third-generation builder, began his carpentry apprenticeship with Single Builders in 2003. Rising through the ranks from residential crew leader to site supervisor, he later led the commercial crew on notable projects like CH Boutique Hotel and Tamworth Business & Lifestyle Park. As Commercial Estimator and Project Manager, Justin guides clients through design & construction, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Sharni began at Single Builders in 2007 after obtaining her Real Estate Certificate. Having worked across various areas within the company, she brings a versatile skill set and exceptional organisational abilities. Her pragmatic approach and keen attention to detail ensures meticulous coordination in her role as Commercial Administrator and MHE Coordinator, consistently delivering efficient and well-managed outcomes.

Sales Coordinator

With over 20 years of experience, Sarah is the Sales Coordinator and Licensee in Charge at Burke & Smyth House and Land Centre. A third-generation agent and a key member since 2001, she offers unmatched expertise in the Tamworth and New England markets. Specialising in home building, land, and house/land packages, Sarah’s deep knowledge and client-focused approach make her a trusted industry leader.

New Homes Consultant

Joining Single Builders in 2022, Troy offers 15 years of experience in the building industry. Specialising in guiding clients through the building journey, he assists with plan design, inclusion selection, and pricing options. With a focus on strong relationships, Troy aims to provide personalised support, ensuring each client's vision is realized smoothly and enjoyably from start to finish.

Sales & Administration

Mary joined Single Builders in 2021 with over 13 years of experience from Reece. In her Sales role, she guides clients through our display homes and collaborates on plans to tailor homes to their needs and aspirations. Passionate about helping clients achieve their dream home, Mary is dedicated to ensuring they create a space they can proudly call their own. 

Drafting 

Kieran, our in-house Building Designer and NatHERS Assessor, is accredited by the Building Designers Association of Australia (BDAA) and House Energy Raters Association (HERA). He has collaborated with Single Builders since 2012 and officially joined the team in 2022. Kieran specialises in energy-efficient home design, ensuring projects meet high sustainability standards with functional and innovative solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

Selections Consultant

Bec has been with Single Builders since 2016. As Selections Consultant she plays a vital role in the selections process for fixtures, fittings, and color choices. With a client-first approach, she ensures every client receives the optimal Single Builders experience. Bec’s dedication and expertise in guiding clients through their selections contribute to a seamless and satisfying home-building journey.

Project Coordinator 

Mitch has been with Single Builders since 2010, starting as an apprentice and advancing to roles such as Leading Hand Carpenter, Crew Leader and Site Supervisor. Now as Project Coordinator, Mitch’s extensive industry knowledge and experience ensures he is with you every step of the way, delivering your dream home with precision and care.

Cameron joined Single Builders in 2017 as a 2nd-year apprentice, starting in the commercial sector. After switching to residential and completing his apprenticeship, he was promoted to Leading Hand, managing a crew building new homes. Now a Site Supervisor, Cameron oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction throughout the building process.

Shannon joined Single Builders in September 2014 as a qualified carpenter. After nearly a decade working on residential and commercial projects across Tamworth and nearby regions, he stepped into the role of Site Supervisor in 2023. Shannon’s hands-on experience and easygoing nature ensure smooth, efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards in every home build he oversees.

Corinne joined Single Builders in mid-2021, bringing 6 years of plumbing experience, including 2 years at Eden Brea Homes in Sydney, where she guided clients in designing bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries. As Residential Administrator, Corinne works with tradespeople, council, and clients, managing projects to ensure seamless communication and a stress-free building experience.

Office Manager

Amanda has been with Single Builders since 2012, excelling in accounts payable and human resources. Her efficiency and time management are key in handling final accounts and variations for each new build. Over the years, Amanda has built strong relationships with employees, tradespeople, and suppliers, ensuring smooth office operations and seamless handovers for every project.

Accounts / HR Support

Alycia joined Single Builders in 2022, managing Accounts, HR, and Workers Compensation Coordination. With expertise in financial operations, payroll, and employee relations, she ensures compliance and smooth processes. Alycia’s detail-oriented approach and adaptability are key in balancing cost control and employee care while supporting overall business growth and operational efficiency.

Maintenance Coordinator

Emily joined Single Builders in 2021 as a receptionist and progressed to maintenance and repairs in 2022. As Maintenance Coordinator in 2024, she manages routine maintenance and emergencies with a proactive approach and very keen attention to detail. Previously working in home care, Emily excels in communicating with trades and clients and resolving maintenance issues swiftly.

Kiriley joined Single Builders in 2020 and developed the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional service to clients, staff, trades and suppliers. As MHE Coordinator, she oversees the manufacturing of our Coastal Lifestyle Villages, managing projects along the East Coast from our Tamworth office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations every step of the way.

Laura joined Single Builders in 2024 as MHE Administrator for Over 55’s Housing Estate projects. She handles permits, documentation, and contractor coordination. Focusing on efficiency and organization, Laura ensures projects meet high standards. Passionate about building thriving communities, she is dedicated to ensuring smooth and timely developments.

Project Management/Trainee

Jaiden joined Single Builders in 2024 as a Trainee Commercial Project Manager while studying her Certificate IV in Project Management Practice. Focused on project planning, budgeting, and execution, Jaiden brings a fresh perspective and attention to detail. Committed to building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and trades, she actively contributes to the successful delivery of every project.

Sophie, our Residential Administrator, graduated in 2023 and brings over six years of retail and customer service experience. With a Certificate III in Interior Design from Whitehouse Institute, she combines her design expertise with strong administrative skills to support seamless residential project coordination and provide exceptional client service throughout the building process.
