Our Story

Mark & Loanna Single - Building the Family Business.

After Mark completed his building apprenticeship under the guidance of Loanna’s father, he became a licensed builder in his own right. In 1993, Mark and Loanna partnered to establish a small home-building business, operating out of their humble home office above the garage. With a young family to support, Mark and Loanna worked tirelessly to grow their small business into a successful, locally recognised family-owned company. Having grown up in Tamworth, raised their own family and now watching their grandchildren grow in the same community, their passion for giving back to the community that’s supported them is evident in both their journey and their commitment to shaping Tamworth’s future. Through their ongoing community engagement and presence in the business, Mark and Loanna continue to create opportunities and leave a positive legacy for generations to come.

Our Future

Justin & Grant Single – Continuing the Family Legacy.

Mark and Loanna’s sons, Justin and Grant, are proud third-generation builders who joined the family business straight out of school. They each completed their apprenticeships with the company, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. After leading carpentry crews and managing daily operations, Justin obtained his building licence and he and Grant have now transitioned into greater leadership roles within the business. As they step into their roles as Directors of Single Builders, a new era of growth and opportunity begins. Their vision, dedication and fresh ideas are driving the company forward, while staying true to the core values of quality, integrity, and commitment  that were established by Mark and Loanna. With their leadership, Single Builders is set to thrive, shaping a strong and successful future.
